記者從大陸中科院獲悉，該院高福課題組在H7N9禽流感病毒感染人的跨宿主傳播機制研究上取得新突破，闡明了H7N9禽流感病毒感染人的原因。該研究成果在線發表在美國《科學》雜誌上。

根據北京晨報報導，該論文第一作者、中科院北京生命科學研究院副研究員施一介紹，安徽株是此次流感暴發事件中的流行毒株，而上海株則只在一個病例中分離得到，兩株病毒在一級序列上顯示出各自的獨特性。研究發現，安徽株既能結合禽源受體，又能結合人源受體，而上海株卻偏好性地結合禽源受體。這充分解釋了安徽株由於獲得人源受體的結合能力，使其具備了在人群中普遍流行的可能性。

施一表示，目前科學家認為此次暴發的H7N9禽流感病毒具備有限的人際傳播能力。研究人員推測由於H7N9病毒仍然具備強結合禽源受體的能力，而人呼吸道上有很多帶禽源受體的黏液素束縛住了病毒的擴散，使得H7N9病毒無法有效傳播。

科學家認為，必須密切關注H7N9病毒的變異，做好監測檢測工作，因為某些突變病毒一旦喪失強結合禽源受體能力，而繼續保留人源受體的結合能力，有可能引發流感大流行。
