颱風重創、菜價飆漲，農委會統計，到今(3)日15時止，農業產物及民間設施估計損失5億8,354萬元，其中落花生、鳳梨、玉米等農作物受損最嚴重，中秋要烤玉米的民眾，恐怕荷包又會縮水了。

農委會表示，農產作物估計損失4億4,382萬元，損失最嚴重落花生估計損失4,335萬元，鳳梨估計損失3,896萬元；二期水稻估計損失3,290萬元；番茄估計損失2,626萬元；玉米估計損失2,467萬元，根據台北農產運銷公司的今日交易行情指出，今日玉米每公斤上漲為42元，中秋節要烤玉米的民眾，恐怕荷包又要因此多一筆開銷。

全台農業產物及民間設施估計損失計5億8,354萬元，其中嘉義縣估計損失2億9,08萬元；雲林縣估計損失2億462萬元；台南市估計損失4062萬元；高雄市估計損失3519萬元；屏東縣估計損失2723萬元；彰化縣估計損失2341萬元；苗栗縣估計損失2038萬元；南投縣、臺中市、嘉義市、新竹縣、宜蘭縣、臺北市、新竹林管處、臺大實驗林、羅東林管處等估計損失2298萬元。

畜禽估計損失金額7,192萬元，主要是雞隻死亡46.9萬隻、鵝2.5萬隻及豬3.5千頭；漁產損失估計損失金額605萬元，以雲林縣養殖魚塭受損11.9公頃較為嚴重；林產損失估計損失金額26萬元。

民間設施估計損失金額6,149萬元，其中農田流失埋沒估計損失5,943萬元，以雲林縣農田埋沒53.0公頃較為嚴重；農業設施估計損失金額194萬元，畜禽設施估計損失金額4萬元；漁民漁業設施估計損失金額8萬元。

農委會指出，嘉義縣農業產物損失已達辦理「農業天然災害救助辦法」現金救助標準，而嘉義縣、雲林縣損失也達辦理低利貸款標準，台南市後壁區的香瓜、西瓜、辣椒及鹽水區的食用番茄已合訂專案補助。
