美股指數期貨上漲，澳元和紐元回升，因中國大陸官方製造業指數攀升至16個月高點。原油價格第3天下滑，因對敘利亞發兵在即展望減退，亞股指數期貨和金價下挫。

東京時間上午7時12分前，標準普爾500指數期貨上漲0.6%，該指數8月30日下跌0.3%。

大阪時間上午3時前，日經225指數期貨下跌0.2%，該指數期貨8月30日在芝加哥期市收跌1.5%。

澳元兌美元匯率升值0.3%，報1澳元兌89.29美分，上週累貶1.4%。紐元升值0.4%。

西德州中級原油價格下跌1.4%至每桶106.18美元。亞股早盤金、銀價格下跌至少0.8%。

大陸公布8月製造業採購經理人指數（PMI）為51.0，超越經濟家估計中值及上月指數50.3。匯豐控股公司（HSBC Holdings Plc）和Markit Economics今將發布相關指數終值。美國總統歐巴馬延緩對敘利亞軍事行動，表示將尋求國會授權。

威靈頓紐西蘭銀行（Bank of New Zealand Ltd.）貨幣策略師瓊斯（Mike Jones）在致客戶電郵中指出：「大陸經濟信心改善，及西方國家干預敘利亞展望消退，恐讓紐元持續走揚。」

他說：「今天油價下挫，可能有助投資人風險胃納提升一些」，因歐巴馬尋求國會授權向敘國出兵。
