9月1日，一名林姓女子被人發現，陳屍在台東太麻里海邊，當警方追查死者交往關係時，高雄有名李姓男子在律師陪同下，前往左營分局投案，男子供稱，2人是男女朋友，日前到汽車旅館過夜，對方卻猝死，擔心受牽連，才開車將屍體載到台東丟棄，警方懷疑女子可能遭殺害，將深入調查。
