《KANO》22日在嘉義棒球場舉辦萬人首映，獲熱烈回響，帶動電影預售票以１天100萬數字向上飆升，電影27日上映，目前票房累積3300萬。導演馬志翔24日記者會後，為購買預售票的朋友簽票，跪在地上簽到欲罷不能，「感謝支持，雖然手好痠，但每簽一張票都是錢啊！」

《KANO》與兒福聯盟合作，民眾只要捐款，兒福聯盟就會將這筆捐款邀請偏鄉地區的小朋友進戲院觀賞《KANO》，監製魏德聖說：「《賽德克．巴萊》的時候，我們到偏鄉放電影，這次要邀小朋友到都市，享受爆米花和聲光效果，希望這樣一部勵志電影，能帶給小朋友未來人生路上更多啟發。」

《KANO》也將在27日於高雄立德棒球場舉辦萬人首映會，魏德聖說：「看完電影，我和馬志翔和小球員們會幫觀眾簽票，簽完為止，我們已經做好簽到天亮的準備，大家趕快進場！」
