新墨西哥核廢料廠起火

美國位於新墨西哥市Calsbad市附近的核廢料廠「廢料隔絕試驗廠」 (WIPP)在當地5日上午11時左右起火，起火點是一部運鹽的地下車輛。美國能源部表示，消防隊已在灌救，所有地下層人員都已安全疏散到地面，火場周圍沒有核廢料，有數名員工送往當地醫院檢查吸入濃煙的情形。能源部說，WIPP處理的是製造核子武器留下來的放射性廢料。
