都燒光了　受災戶狼狽住飯店

台中市西區忠義街清晨發生民宅火災，造成8戶透天厝遭焚毀與兩人受傷。台中市長胡志強除到場慰問災民，並指示相關單位全力協助善後，社會局長王秀燕說，已安排受災民眾進駐附近的昭盛五十二行館，暫避風寒，西區公所也立即整合「元保宮」和忠誠里「福德祠」到場先發給受災戶每戶5萬元救急。

胡志強說，過年前發生這種意外真的讓人難過，幸好沒有造成太大傷亡，他看到有民眾穿著睡衣逃跑出來，但有民眾立即送給她衣服遮蔽風寒，他說：「台中市是個有愛的城市，相信這些溫暖與關懷，可以協助災民走出陰霾，度過難關！」（曾雪蒨／台中報導）
