5香蕉樹被折斷 疑大型動物所為

嘉義縣中埔鄉頂中公路旁一處香蕉園內，昨天被發現有5棵香蕉樹折斷，並留下爪痕，果園主人嚇得向鄉公所通報，經農業課獸醫童熯民等人初步勘查，懷疑是大型動物，今將由縣政府派員進一步調查。

整片香蕉園中，5顆高超過2公尺、直徑逾30公分的香蕉樹，全都倒向同一側，枝葉散落一地。裕民村村長翁永德嘗試用盡力氣欲扳倒香蕉樹，僅輕微傾斜，還因反彈力道滑倒。他表示，住了50多年，第一次看到這種情形，強烈懷疑「兇手」是熊。

童熯民分析，依照爪型，不可能是熊，認為是其他大型動物，才有折斷樹幹的力量。
