台巴混血兒吳憶樺在今(3)日晚間7點45分抵台，一臉靦腆與大家揮手打招呼，同時吳憶樺的養母與一名巴西媒體記者也隨行。他不忘本的用台語和大家說「請大家保重 」，也和叔叔吳火相擁落淚。但因為現場媒體為取得畫面，也發生了些許的衝突。

吳憶樺在養母葉特納(Etha Borkert)與義兄卡西歐(Cassio Borkert)陪伴下，1日從巴西大河州啟程展開返鄉之旅。吳憶樺表示，很想念闊別10年的台灣與叔叔一家人，非常期待這次返鄉，假如有機會，不排除回台定居、念書與工作。

在得知吳憶樺將返抵台灣的消息之後，叔叔吳火眼一家人開心張羅迎接事宜，並表示不會怕吳憶樺不會說台語無法溝通，從小就是這樣相處，且最想問他過得好不好。

吳憶樺表哥也抽空回來整理他小時候睡過的臥房，就連吳憶樺童年就讀的茄萣國小也摩拳擦掌準備一連串活動，準備盛大歡迎吳憶樺返回母校，並找來吳憶樺昔日玩伴要與他踢足球，再續前緣。

吳憶樺離開台灣10年後，今天晚間7點45分抵台，預計停留16天，高雄茄萣的親友們還組團北上桃園機場熱情接機，吳火眼還準備2束鮮花、3條國旗圍巾要送給吳憶樺及他的養母。
