根據 Samsung 發出的新聞稿，Samsung 2014 年的智慧型電視產品將具備手指動作偵測功能。

一年一度的 CES 即將開始，所有的消費性電子廠商都開始備戰，Samsung 於 23 日發布新聞稿，指出 Samsung Smart TV 產品將於 CES 2014 中展出新品。而在目前 Samsung Smart TV 中的語音命令功能在新一代產品中，將擴展到 12 個新市場，讓支援地區總數達到 23 個。

在 Samsung 的 2014 新品中，使用者只要說出頻道號碼就可以轉台，並能夠利用捷徑打開網站或是 app，和 2013 年的產品比起來，語音命令簡化成只有一個步驟，使用起來更為方便。

另外使用者也可以利用語音搜尋日常資訊，例如天氣、股票和運動等。而 Samsung 也將改進動作感應功能，加入「手指手勢」（finger gesture）功能，使用者可以利用手指感應，轉台、調整音量或是搜尋想找的資訊。同時使用者也只要作出逆時針旋轉手指的動作就可以回到上一個畫面或是停止播放，使用上更為直覺。
