台灣文學館「美國小天地」區　今開幕

【辛啟松／台南報導】台灣文學館兒童文學書房新設置的「美國小天地」閱讀區，今舉行開幕儀式，美國在台協會高雄分處處長歐介林擔任故事大使，用英語說故事，與小朋友互動熱烈。成立9年多的台灣文學館兒童文學書房，布置溫馨可愛，是館內最受歡迎的空間，目前藏書9千多冊，主要以台灣文學的書籍為主，今天成立的「美國小天地」美國資料專區，由美國在台協會提供英語繪本讀物共400多冊英文繪本，未來會不定期舉行英語說故事活動，讓小朋友接觸英美文學，提升語言能力。

今天開幕式由台灣文學館副館長張忠進主持，協進國小師生到場表演英文歌舞，表演可愛逗趣，觀眾報以熱烈掌聲，現場並有台文館志工穿上紅衣紅帽扮成耶誕老人發送糖果，增添濃厚的耶誕氣氛，掀起活動高潮。
