顧能：耶誕禮 智慧手錶難成首選

儘管智慧手錶受到市場關注，但顧能(Gartner)認為，由於昂貴的價格加上模糊的價值主張，多數消費者不會把智慧手錶列為耶誕佳禮願望清單的首選。

顧能表示，智慧手錶屬於穿戴式電子產品市場的子類別之一，涵蓋健身、健康監測、老年監測與執法監控(追蹤)等各種垂直產業鏈與消費族群；智慧手錶本身並非一項全新產品，但近期加入了通訊及其他智慧功能，以試圖自醫療保健和健身領域切入主流消費市場。

近來三星(Samsung)以及其他知名廠商紛紛切入智慧手錶領域，然而市面所見的產品無論在設計、App數量以及功能上，仍相對缺少新意，顧能預測，至2017年，穿戴式裝置仍將為手機的輔助裝置，會以穿戴式裝置與平板的搭配組合，完全取代手機的高階手機使用者比例仍不及1%。

由於缺乏創新的設計，大多數的智慧手錶目前仍未能吸引大眾市場關注，顧能指出，廠商應試圖在具吸引力的設計與電池續航力之間求取平衡，因為兩者都是影響消費者決定是否購買的重要因素。
