環保署說明環保標章驗證單位

環保署日前撤銷華碩聯合科技股份有限公司19張環保標章使用證書，產品包括筆記型電腦、監視器、電腦主機及桌上型個人電腦。

環保署表示，華碩聯合科技股份有限公司檢具獨家代理文件、產品證明文件及EPEAT網站登錄資料等提出申請，經環保署委託驗證機構（財團法人環境與發展基金會）驗證審查通過，但文件授權人卻是「華碩電腦股份有限公司」。

環保署將在11月14日召開環保標章審驗大會，除檢討改進作業流程，也評估懲處代驗機購。

環保署表示，環保標章代驗機購有財團法人環境與發展基金會及財團法人電子檢驗中心；財團法人電子檢驗中心從去年11月至今未發給華碩環保標章。
