「夾子」小應自從在電影「海角七號」演出甘草人物「水蛙」受肯定後，打開演戲路，電影「雞排英雄」、「大尾鱸鰻」都受導演欽點演出，後者兩部更與豬哥亮結緣，日前他上「萬秀豬王」錄影，豬哥亮還讚他是「億萬吉祥物」，被偶像如此稱讚，小應當下也臉紅害羞，直呼不敢當。

比起「夾子電動大樂隊」，豬哥亮的讚美，讓小應尺度大開，開玩笑若和豬哥亮一起組團，團名就叫「豬哥應（硬）了大樂隊」，陳亞蘭則吐槽豬：「他已經很久沒這種狀態。」豬哥亮則反擊，也說若小應和陳亞蘭就是「 夾子硬蘭樂團」、「火燒蘭樂團」。

小應與Matzka同台飆歌，兩團其實已認識10年，第一天認識Matzka，小應笑說：「真的見識了原住民獵人精神，所有人都盯著食物跟酒，手快速地抓肉，嘴不停地喝酒，沒人跟他講話。」
