今天晚上全台灣民眾可能會睡得不安穩，尤其是家住花蓮的民眾，繼20:02的規模6.3強震後，不斷有餘震，今(31)晚22時25分21秒又發生芮氏規模3.5地震。

氣象局指出，這起地震震央位置：北緯23.76°東經121.42°、震源深度13.5公里、芮氏規模3.5，相對位置花蓮縣政府西南方32.7公里(位於花蓮縣鳳林鎮)。

各地震度級如下：
花蓮縣地區最大震度4級：西林4、光復2、壽豐2、磯崎1、銅門1、紅葉1。
