富士康生產線實習生人數已減半

金融時報24日報導，富士康（Foxconn）表示，過去一年來，在該公司工廠工作的實習生人數已減少一半。

這家代工生產iPad及PlayStation遊戲機的公司表示，公司2012年共有120萬名員工，平均而言其中有2.7%（或3.24萬人）為實習生。這個比率在過去12個月以來已減至1.3%以下，而同時富士康的員工規模維持不變。

勞工維權人士及部分富士康產品的消費者近來呼籲富士康，要更加嚴謹地監控生產線上實習生的工作情形。該公司兩周前承認，位於中國大陸北部的一座工廠違反公司政策，讓實習生超時工作並值夜班。

富士康將實習生人數減少歸因於「公司針對生產系統及製程所做的改變，這些改變使實習生缺額減少」。

製造業者經常表示，學生進公司實習能夠賺取經驗，有時畢業後還可直接進入公司上班。然而，在學生的抱怨浮上檯面後，僱用實習生的做法遭受各界嚴厲抨擊。部分實習生表示，為了取得實習證書，有時被迫長時間在生產線上工作，而且這些工作與學業之間的關聯性很低。
