7月，Carl Landry才和沙加緬度國王簽下4年2600萬美元「回鍋」合約，15日卻傳出嚴重受傷消息。

根據《RealGM》透露，Landry雖然最近都是帶傷練球，但他的髖屈肌撕裂傷比想像中嚴重，將至少休息3至4個月，確定季初看不到這位拚勁十足的前鋒。

主司大前鋒的Landry身高雖然只有6呎9吋，生涯場均仍有11.9分、5.3籃板。

2007年進入聯盟的Landry，6年間從休士頓火箭、國王、紐奧良黃蜂（現鵜鶘）、金州勇士，到回鍋國王，但出身未捷卻先傷。
