　　日本朝日新聞報導，大分縣別府市為提振觀光，10 月10 日宣佈與世界知名虛擬歌姬「初音未來」合作，提撥預算約 7480 萬元日幣，自 11 月 15 日舉辦「TRANCE CITY feat. HATSUNE MIKU」虛擬都市活動。


　　別府市為提振觀光與當地經濟，宣佈跟時下年輕人極具盛名的虛擬偶像「初音未來」合作，於自 11 月 15 日舉辦「TRANCE CITY feat. HATSUNE MIKU」。別府直徑 21 公尺的 B-Con Plaza 江開放免費入場，活動期間內播放 360度的大型投影、配合初音未來的經典歌曲進行演出，還將展示痛車、聖誕煙火秀，參加活動的觀光客還可以領取 TRANCE CITY 的市民身份證，成為「初音市市民」，這一系列企劃預算約為 7480 萬元日幣，目標吸引近 25 萬人參觀。


B-Con Plaza

　　「TRANCE CITY feat. HATSUNE MIKU」虛擬都市活動，時間從 11 月 15 日至 2014 年 1 月 15 日結束，為期兩個月。別府市市長表示「我感到非常激動，希望能讓屆時別府市全境都充滿微笑！」著名的溫泉聖地別府市，希望透過這一系列嶄新的活動，創造出新的魅力。
