為慶祝農曆九月九日重陽節，台灣高鐵公司特別於10月13日（日）重陽節當天，準備「迷你電動按摩器」於高鐵全線8個車站限量贈送年長旅客，表達高鐵公司對長者的關懷與祝福。

高鐵公司今年以來在各重要節日贈送應景小禮，獲得許多旅客正面迴響，此次特別於九九重陽節，贈送年長旅客「迷你電動按摩器」，希望長者在享受高鐵安全舒適旅程的同時，能藉由這份貼心小禮紓壓解勞、放鬆身心。

此外，針對60歲至64歲（未及65歲）旅客，高鐵公司現正推出「熟年優惠」（即日起至2014年3月31日止）；符合身分旅客，憑身分證件至高鐵車站售票窗口，購買週一至週四上午9時至11時間，及晚間19時後發車之列車，可享標準車廂對號座全票75折優惠，熟年輕鬆遊。

「老吾老以及人之老」，高鐵公司說，祝福年長旅客福壽安康，透過平穩舒適的高鐵列車，遊遍台灣、享受人生。
