53歲陳姓婦人左側乳房半年內快速長出30公分巨型惡性腫瘤，就醫檢查又發現腹部也有顆20公分子宮肌瘤和肌腺症，高醫首度出動乳房外科、婦產科及整形外科三大名醫侯明鋒、鄭丞傑、林幸道通力合作，花9小時一次手術內切除乳房及子宮肌瘤，並同時完成乳房重建。

侯明鋒表示，陳姓婦人罹患的巨大乳房腫瘤，在乳癌中是屬於較罕見的葉狀瘤，發生率僅0.3至1％，好發於50、60歲以上中年女性，很容易與乳房纖維腺瘤混淆，呼籲婦女若發現乳房有不明硬塊且快速長大，應儘速就醫檢查。
