Tommy Emmanuel是享譽國際的吉他之神，被譽為指彈吉他界「天神級」的人物。以複雜的指彈風格，充滿活力的現場表演，以及在吉他上運用敲擊效果最為著名。50年演出生涯、發行過25張專輯、得過無數獎項與榮獲許多頭銜。

Tommy的音樂演奏難度雖高，卻平易近人，旋律好聽易記；表演風格活潑逗趣，在舞台上常有用不完的招式。魅力十足的演出，讓他不論到哪裡演出，都是場場爆滿。2000年雪梨奧運時，他與哥哥在閉幕式上演出，2010年6月被授予澳大利亞貢獻勳章（AM）。

Tommy Emmanuel幾乎每年會到世界各地巡迴演奏，今年他邀請英國爵士大師Martin Taylor同台飆技。Martin Taylor是曾獲英國女王授勛的吉他手，連爵士樂之鄉的美國人，也非常推崇他的琴技。1978年，他推出首張專輯Taylor Made，自此打響名號，隨即展開一連串世界巡迴演出。他的演奏風格相當清新脫俗，琴聲中充滿源源不絕的生命力，更被譽為英國最佳爵士吉他手。

由卓著文化事業有限公司、Guitar Concept共同主辦《吉他傳奇》─Tommy Emmanuel與Martin Taylor2013年世界巡迴演奏會台北場，10月20日（周日）19:30 於台北科技大學中正館舉行。購票可上「大市集交易網」或7-11、全家超商預購。
