美作家湯姆克蘭西病逝　享壽66歲

【綜合報導】美國暢銷小說作家湯姆克蘭西(Tom Clancy)，1日在巴蒂摩爾醫院病逝，享壽66歲，病逝原因則沒有公開。
 
擅長撰寫美蘇冷戰時期的軍事諜報小說，著名作品包括《獵殺紅色十月》、《赤色風暴》、《愛國者遊戲》、《迫切的危機》和《恐懼的總和》等總計28本作品，多部作品都曾被翻拍成電影和製作成電玩遊戲。
 
1984年出版第一本作品《獵殺紅色十月》，銷量超過5百萬本，他的作品還曾獲美國前總統雷根讚賞，表示是最完美的小說，讓克蘭西的小說更受矚目。
