維基百科所使用的架站程式 - MediaWiki，這套PHP免費網頁程式的開發團隊跟維基百科一樣隸屬於「維基媒體基金會」，也是該組織旗下所有網站所使用的架站程式；由於是自由軟體授權，也被知名的「維基解密」網站拿去架站，還被台灣的媒體誤認為是同一個組織，其實只是用同樣的架站程式！另外，不用30分鐘你也可以用它架一個跟維基百科一樣的網站！（阿榮）（下載）

MediaWiki is a free software wiki package written in PHP, originally for use on Wikipedia. It is now used by several other projects of the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation and by many other wikis, including the home of MediaWiki website.
