【綜合報導】中國山東榮成西霞口神雕山野生動物自然保護區，一隻剛出生的雄性小象，差點被母親踩死，被工作人員救出後，獨自躺在小屋內療傷，竟通宵流淚。至於大象媽媽則疑產後憂鬱，食慾下降，要以藥物輔助治療。

據悉，這頭名叫「壯壯」的小象，是在上周五晚出生，重約86.5公斤，高90公分。出生當時，母象突然後腳踢前腳，踩踏壯壯。飼養員見狀，立即上前把壯壯救出來。兩個多小時後，因壯壯要吃奶，飼養員再將壯壯放到母象身邊。這次母象又直接上前，狂踩狂踢壯壯。

飼養員冒着生命危險把壯壯從母象腳下救出，但壯壯已是遍體鱗傷，臍帶處還被踢出10公分長的傷口。壯壯當晚被安排獨自躺在小屋裏，飼養員見牠流下傷心痛苦的淚水，從凌晨兩點多，一直哭到早上7點。

所幸近日壯壯已逐漸康復，還很有胃口。但媽媽則不肯吃喝，而且只要聽到小象的叫聲，就會發瘋地跳出護欄，尋找小象。
