甘比亞與台灣斷交 立即生效

（中央社甘比亞班竹14日綜合外電報導）非洲國家甘比亞今天宣布，有鑑於「國家戰略利益」，甘比亞切斷與中華民國維持18年的外交關係。

甘比亞總統賈梅（Yahya Jammeh）發表這篇「檢討並切斷」外交關係的聲明。賈梅說，斷交立即生效。

賈梅說，雖然斷交，甘比亞仍希望與台灣人民「維持友誼」。

甘比亞與中華民國1995年7月建交。

甘比亞與中華民國斷交是否與甘比亞跟中國大陸發展關係有關，目前仍不清楚，也不清楚甘比亞是否受到壓力才與中華民國斷交。中國大陸在非洲的影響力愈來愈大。（譯者：中央社何世煌）1021115
